Dale Murphy takes a cut at Wrigley Field, 1991 – Sully Baseball Daily Photo at Noon for April 3, 2018

IMG_2092When my dad and I were in Wrigley Field for a game in 1991, we saw slugger Dale Murphy play for the Phillies.

Poor guy. He was the star of so many awful Braves teams in the 1980’s. They dealt him to the Phillies in 1990 and the next year, the Braves went on a post season rampage.

He was there for all the bad times and not the good times.
