Chris Bassitt threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 3 Astros. The A’s would walk off the 3-2 game in extra innings.

Trevor Bauer fanned 12 Brewers in 6 innings, allowing 1 run along the way, to earn the 8-3 decision for Cincinnati.

Nicholas Castellanos hit a 2 run home run, got another hit for 3 RBI total as the Reds topped the Brewers, 8-3.

Alex Verdugo homered twice and walked to power the Red Sox past Toronto, 5-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Taylor Clarke retired all 9 batters he faced in 3 perfect innings of relief, striking out 3 Padres in the 3-0 Diamondbacks loss.

Erik González drove in 6 runs, going 4 for 5 with a homer as the Pirates came up short in the 17-13 extra inning slug fest against Detroit.

Austin Nola doubled and homered, driving in 3, but the Rockies doubled up the Mariners, 8-4.

Masahiro Tanaka held the Rays to 1 hit and no runs over 5 strong innings but the Yankee bullpen dropped the 1-0 game.

Shane Bieber strick out 8 Reds in 7 2/3 innings to earn the 4-2 decision for Cleveland.

Howie Kendrick went 4 for 4 with a homer to help the Nationals top the Mets, 5-3.

Stephen Piscotty launched a walk off grand slam to give the A’s a 5-1 victory over Texas.

German Márquez pitched into the 8th, allowing 2 runs and struking out 9 Giants in 7 1/3 innings for the 5-2 Rockies win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Erik González collected 3 hits in the Pirates 7-3 loss to Minnesota.

Lance Lynn struck out 7 A’s over 6 1/3 innings, giving up a single run. He would not fair in the decision as the Rangers dropped the 5-1 game in the 9th.

Tyler Mahle held the Indians to one hit over 6 shutout innings. The Reds bullpen would drop the 4-2 final.

Dylan Moore doubled and homered but the Mariners came up short against the Angels, 5-3.
