My my my… look who is back on The Summer Score board. The Milwaukee Brewers, who haven’t added to their Summer Score tally since August 6, have pulled to within 1 game of a playoff spot in September, which is worth one point. And seeing that they are just 1/2 game back of the Phillies, things could be getting very interesting in the last week of the season.

There are 4 points awarded for each day in a playoff position this September. Plus a point is given to any team who pulls within 1 game of a playoff spot.

The Braves, Cardinals, Dodgers, Mets, Padres and Philles all added to their Summer Score in the National League. The Brewers get 1 point for being within 1 game of a playoff spot.

The Astros, Blue Jays, Guardians, Mariners, Rays and Yankees all added from the American League.
