Earning Full WOBs:
Homer Bailey helped the Royals put on a show in Omaha with 6 shutout innings, striking out 6 Tigers and earning the 7-3 decision.
Charlie Blackmon collected 4 hits, including 2 homers, driving in 4, as the Rockies topped the Padres, 9-6.
Zack Greinke flirted with a no hitter, finishing with 7 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and no walks as the Diamondbacks blanked the Nationals, 5-0.
Shohei Ohtani hit the first cycle for the Angels since 2013, driving in 3 runs to top the Rays, 5-3.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Manny Machado homered twice and singled but the Padres could not catch the Rockies in the 9-6 Coors slug fest.
Dovydas Neverauskas slowed down the Braves bats with 2 scoreless and hitless innings in relief to give the Pirates a chance. They came up just short, 6-5.
Hunter Pence reached base 4 times, including 2 doubles, scoring a run and driving in another as the Rangers dropped a wild 7-6 game in Boston.
Hunter Wood gave the Rays a pair of scoreless innings of relief to give them a chance to comeback. The Angels would hold on in the 5-3 final.
