Jackie Robinson’s bust is larger than life outside of Pasadena City Hall. Next to his memorial is one for his brother Mack Robinson, who was an Olympic athlete himself.

In another era, the Robinson brothers would be national heroes. Jackie remains one. I am glad Mack gets his due in their hometown.

Is there a fan base whose fans are more loyal and shown more dedication than the Miami Marlins? I don’t think so. They suffer and get no sympathy… in fact their very existence is questioned.
