The last week of baseball has been odd

The Nationals suddenly can’t lose.

They are playing solid D, getting good pitching and a walk off grand slam from someone named Justin Maxwell.
And the Nationals, who have already clinched the worst record in baseball, have extended their winning streak to 5 games.

And the Dodgers…

Well, I can’t crap on them too much because I told them to not worry about these games.
But being outscored 27-5 in the last 5 games doesn’t bode well for a potential pennant contender.
You know how they say the most important thing isn’t your record but how you are playing going into the playoffs?
Then the NL should be thankful the Nationals are missing the post season this year
