Chris Davis ended a nightmarish 0-54 slump with 3 hits, including a double, driving in 3 to lead the Orioles past the flopping Red Sox, 9-5.

Austin Dean went 4 for 4 with a homers, 3 runs scored and 5 RBI as the Marlins won against Philadelphia, 10-3.

Justin Verlander struck out 11 Mariners while walking none over 6 innings, giving up a solo homer and one other hit to give the red hot Astros a 3-1 final.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Chris Archer struck out 9 Nationals in 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run but saw the Pirates bullpen surrender the lead and the game, 3-2.
