Chris Flexen held the Rangers to 4 hits and 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 7 innings. The Mariners bullpen blew his lead but the bats would save the day in the 9-8 win.

Brandon Marsh tripled twice and added a single and a walk, driving in 3, to help the Angels come back in a wild 13-10 slugfest with Detroit.

Tyler O’Neill reached base 3 times, including a key home run as the Cardinals doubled up the Brewers, 8-4.

Jeimer Candelario collected 3 hits, including a home run, scoring 3, but the Tigers pitching collapsed against the Angels in the 13-10 final.

Ronald Torreyes singled and doubled, driving in a run and scoring another, as the Phillies fell to Arizona, 6-2.

Madison Bumgarner held his former Giants teammates to 1 run over 7 innings to earn the 3-1 decision for the Diamondbacks.

Elias Diaz singled, doubled and homered to help Colorado top the Cubs, 13-6.

Teoscar Hernandez went 3 for 3 with a homer, driving in 3, to power the Blue Jays past Cleveland 7-2.

Lance McCullers Jr. struck out 9 Dodgers in 6 2/3 shutout innings as Houston pulled off the 3-0 victory.

EARNING 1/2 WOB’s

Willie Adames finished with a home run and 7 total bases in the Brewers 8-5 defeat to the Pirates.

Kris Bubic held threw 6 strong innings, allowing 3 hits and 3 walks but took the hard luck 7-1 loss for the Royals against the White Sox.

Adrian Houser did not let up a hit over 6 1/3 innings, walking 5 Pirates and allowing an earned run. The Brewers bullpen blew the no hitter and eventually the game, 8-5.
