Steven Brault threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 6 Cubs for the Pirates 3-2 victory.

Marcell Ozuna collected 11 total bases, including 2 homers, driving in 5 as the Braves clobbered the Marlins, 11-1 to capture the NL East crown.

Max Stassi got 4 hits, including 2 homers, as the Angels doubled up the Padres, 4-2.

Framber Valdéz struck out 8 Mariners in 7 innings to give the Astros a critical 6-1 win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Daz Cameron got a pair of hits in the Tigers 5-4 loss to the Twins.

Thomas Eshelman threw 2 1/3 shutout innings in relief but the damage was done as Boston topped Baltimore, 8-3.

Sonny Gray fanned 8 Brewers in 5 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run. He did not fare in the decision as Cincinnati dropped the 3-2 final.

Anthony Rizzo homered and singled, driving in both Cubs runs in the 3-2 defeat by the Pirates.

Gerrit Cole shutout the Orioles in all 7 innings of the double header opener, allowing 2 hits while striking out 9 as the Yankees romped to a 6-0 final.

Wilson Ramos got on base 4 times, including a home run, driving in 4 to lead the Mets to an 18-1 thrashing of Toronto.

Luke Voit went 3 for 4 with 2 homers and 6 RBI in the Yankees 10-1 thrashing of the Orioles for the sweep of a double header. Voit also had a hit and scored a run in the 6-1 opener.

Brandon Woodruff threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 12 Cubs while walking none, setting up the Brewers 1-0 walk off victory.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jon Lester blanked the Brewers in his 6 innings, striking out 8. He did not fare in the decision as the Cubs were shutout 1-0.

Casey Mize held the White Sox hitless through 5 before being lifted in the 6th, allowing 1 hit and 2 runs. The Detroit bullpen dropped the 4-3 final.

Walker Buehler struck out 11 Rockies in 6 innings, giving up 1 run, as the Dodgers took the 5-1 final.

Dallas Keuchel dominated the Cubs with 8 strong innings, allowing 1 run as the White Sox won the 10-1 blow out.

Marcell Ozuna homered twice, added a single, and drove in 4 to lead the Braves past the Phillies, 11-2.

Jonathan Schoop went 4 for 5 to help the Tigers double up the Indians, 10-5.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Patrick Corbin pitched into the 7th, striking out 9 Marlins in 6 1/3 innings, but he was saddled with the hard luck 3-2 loss for the Nationals.

Yandy Díaz reached base 5 times, including a homer, but the Rays came up short in the 6-5 game against the Blue Jays.

Christian Walker singled twice and doubled twice but the Diamondbacks lost 6-2 to San Francisco.
