Kevin Gausman allowed only 1 run in Coors over 6 innings, striking out 11 Rockies to set up the Giants 6-2 victory.

Corey Seager reached base 3 times, including 2 homers, as the Dodgers blanked Arizona 3-0.

George Springer homered, singled twice and walked, giving the Blue Jays a critical 5-2 win against the Twins.

Jake Cronenworth went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI but the Padres 9th inning rally came up short against Atlanta in the 4-3 final.

Shohei Ohtani struck out 10 Mariners in 7 innings, allowing 1 run, but the Angels bullpen dropped the 5-1 game.

Antonio Senzatela was effective over 6, holding the Giants to 2 runs, but the Rockies would fall 6-2.

Myles Straw collected 4 hits in the Indians 5-2 loss to the White Sox.

Let’s see owned baseball on June 2, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Brandon Crawford hit a pair of homers as the Giants pounded Baltimore, 8-1.

Lucas Giolito pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 innings, 5 hits, no runs and struck out 9 Cleveland batters for the White Sox 2-0 victory.

Max Scherzer struck out 15 Reds in 8 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk and 1 run to earn the 4-1 decision for Washington.

Myles Straw reached base 4 times, stole 3 bases and scored 3 runs in the Astros 6-4 extra innings win in Oakland.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Matt Chapman got 3 hits, including a game tying homer in the 8th but the Astros topped the A’s in the 12th, 6-4.

Cole Hamels held the Cardinals to 2 hits, 2 walks and a single unearned run over 7 innings. But he still ended up on the wrong end of a 2-1 Cubs loss.

Zach Plesac had the best outing of his young career, allowing 4 hits, 1 run and struck out 7. But the Indians were blanked by the White Sox, 2-0.

Hunter Renfroe homered twice in the Padres 9-3 defeat by the Marlins.
