Earning Full WOBs:

Mike Minor pitched into the 8th, firing 7 1/3 scoreless frames as the Rangers handed the Yankees their first shutout since 2018 with a 7-0 final.

Joc Pederson homered twice and doubled, driving in 5, to slug the Dodgers past Colorado, 16-9.

Tommy Pham knocked a walk off RBI single, his third hit of the game, to lead the Rays to a 5-4 win over Baltimore.

Noah Syndergaard struck out 10 Nationals over 7 innings of 3 hit shutout ball to earn the 7-3 decision for the Mets.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Charlie Blackmon hit 3 doubles, driving in 1 and scoring twice in the Rockies 16-9 loss to the Dodgers.

Miguel Cabrera singled and homered but Detroit came up short against Minnesota, 4-3.

Anthony DeSclafani struck out 8 Phillies in 7 innings but was on the wrong end of a 7-1 decision for the Reds.

Masahiro Tanaka kept the Yankees in the game with 6 innings, allowing 2 hits. But the Rangers blanked New York, 7-0.

Let’s see owned baseball on July 30, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Adam Duvall collected 4 hits, 2 of them home runs, and scored 3 times to help the Braves hold off Washington, 11-8.

Kyle Seager was a double shy of the cycle in his 3 hits, 4 RBI game as the Mariners topped Detroit, 8-5.

Noah Syndergaard pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 scoreless frames while striking out 11 White Sox, setting up the Mets 5-2 extra inning victory.

Justin Verlander threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 13, as the Astros blanked Cleveland, 2-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Andrew Benintendi reached base 4 times, homered and drove in 3 but the Red Sox rally came up just short against Tampa Bay, 6-5.

Shane Bieber struck out 8 Astros over 7 innings, holding them to 2 runs. But Verlander was slightly better and Cleveland was shutout, 2-0.

Zac Gallen gave the Marlins 7 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs while striking out 8 Minnesota batters. However he took the hard lick 2-1 decision.

Manny Machado singled and homered in the Padres 8-5 loss to Baltimore.

Earning Full WOBs:

Sandy Alcantara threw a complete game, 2 hit shutout, striking out 8 Mets and walking 1 as the Marlins completed the sweep with a 3-0 final.

Albert Almora Jr. reached base 4 times, including 2 doubles, scoring twice to help the Cubs win over Washington, 6-5.

Shane Bieber dazzled with a 15 strikeout, zero walk performance, going all nine innings as the Indians blanked the Orioles, 10-0.

Edwin Encarnación singled, doubled and homered, driving in 3 runs, to help the slumping Mariners top Minnesota, 7-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Reynaldo López allowed just 1 run over 6 innings, keeping the Blue Jays to 4 hits and 2 walks. The White Sox bullpen would drop the 5-2 game.

Ryan McMahon homered twice in a losing cause as Colorado fell to the Phillies, 7-5.

Jorge Polanco went 4 for 5 with an RBI and a run scored in Minnesota’s 7-4 defeat in Seattle.

Noah Syndergaard pitched 7 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs, but was on the wrong end of the Marlins 3-0 shutout of the Mets.
