Gerrit Cole rebounded from a first inning homer by pitching into the 6th, striking out 9 Angels in 5 2/3 innings, earning the 2-1 decision for the Yankees.

Jonathan India powered the white hot Reds with a home run, double and single, driving in 5, in the 14-5 win over the Cubs.

Brandon Lowe homered twice and added another hit as the Rays rolled, 9-2 over Baltimore.

Wade Miley threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits while striking out 7 Cubs as the Reds won a blowout, 14-5.

Earning 1/2 WOB

Steven Brault kept the Dodgers off the board into the 6th with 5 2/3 shutout innings. The Pirates bullpen would blow the shutout, the lead and ultimately the 2-1 game.

Steve Cishek threw 2 solid innings of shutout relief, striking out a pair of Yankees to keep the game close. The Angels could not rally and were doubled up, 2-1.

Trent Grisham hit a dramatic 3 run home run to tie the game in the 9th inning, only to watch the Rockies walk off against his Padres, 6-5.

Bradley Zimmer reached base 3 times, including a home run, but the Twins edged Cleveland, 5-4.

Max Stassi got 4 hits, including 2 homers, as the Angels doubled up the Padres, 4-2.

Framber Valdéz struck out 8 Mariners in 7 innings to give the Astros a critical 6-1 win.

Steven Brault went the distance, striking out 8 Cardinals in his complete game 5-1 victory for Pittsburgh.

Brandon Nimmo got 3 hits including a game tying triple and a go ahead home run as the Mets took a dramatic 10-6 game from Philadelphia.

José Ramírez went 4 for 5 with 2 homers and 4 RBI as the Indians clubbed the Angels, 10-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. collected 11 total bases, including 2 home runs, in the Blue Jays 10-7 loss to the Yankees.

Bryce Harper reached base 4 times, clubbing a pair of home runs but the Phillies bullpen collapsed in the 10-6 final against the Mets.
