Willy Adames singled, doubled, tripled and walked as the Rays humiliated the Red Sox 17-8.

Mookie Betts had yet another 3 homer game, added another hit, driving in 5, as the Dodgers blasted the Padres, 11-2.

Yu Darvish took a no hitter into the 7th, finishing with 1 hit and 1 run, striking out 11 Brewers and earned the 4-2 decision for the Cubs.

Thomas Eshelman allowed just 2 runs over 5 innings as the Orioles clobbered the Phillies, 11-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Michael Lorenzen threw 3 1/3 innings of shutout innings out of the bullpen, striking out a pair of Pirates but the Reds fell, 9-6.

Josh Osich struck out 5 Rays in 2 innings, allowing no runs, but nothing else worked out right for the Red Sox as they were blown out, 17-8.

Kevin Plawecki got 2 hits, drove in 3 and pitched 2/3 of an inning of mop up relief in the Red Sox 17-8 loss to Tampa Bay.

J. T. Realmuto homered two times but the Orioles bombed the Phillies, 11-4.

Let’s see owned baseball on July 1, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Josh Bell homered 3 times, added another hit, and drove in 7 to help the Pirates bomb the Cubs, 18-5.

Freddy Galvis compiled 10 total bases by homering twice and doubling to help the Blue Jays cruise to an 11-4 final over the Royals.

Clayton Richard threw 6 innings, allowing 3 runs and struck out 4 Royals en route to an easy 11-4 win for the Blue Jays.

Jeff Samardzija gave the Giants 8 innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6 Padres to get the 13-2 victory.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Thomas Eshelman held the Rays to 2 runs over 5 innings. He would not get the decision as the Orioles bullpen lost the 6-3 game.

Tyler Mahle struck out 8 Brewers in 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks. The Reds would drop the 8-6 final.

Renato Núñez singled and doubled, scoring a run, but the Orioles were doubled up by the Rays, 6-3

Eugenio Suárez went 3 for 4, including 2 homers, in the Reds 8-6 loss to Milwaukee.
