After I graduated and got my Masters at Washington State last year, I walked right over in cap and gown to Martin Stadium to see the Cougars play some ball.
I told the person taking tickets “I swear I am a student. Why else would I be dressed like this?”
The great announcer Keith Jackson passed away today. Most remember him as a football voice. He was also a great baseball announcer. He would have had more memorable calls had Howard Cosell not stepped on him so often.
