Eduardo Escobar went 4 for 5 with a home run, driving in 5, as the Diamondbacks bombed the Padres, 10-1.

Joey Gallo homered twice and walked twice to help the Rangers bomb the Royals, 8-0.

Kyle Gibson struck out 10 in 7 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 walk as the Rangers blanked Kansas City, 8-0

EARNING 1/2 WOB’s

Zach Eflin pitched 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run and 1 walk, but the Phillies bullpen failed again, allowing the Mets to walk off 4-3 winners.

DJ LeMahieu went 4 for 5 with a homer and 2 RBI but the Yankees 9th inning rally in Boston fell short as they were doubled up, 4-2.

Webster Rivas got 3 hits and scored the Padres only run in the 10-1 pounding by Arizona.

Framber Valdez pitched 6 innings, allowing 3 runs and did not walk a batter. The Astros dropped the opener to the Tigers but his outing allowed the bullpen to be rested and ready for the 3-2 victory in the nightcap.

Madison Bumgarner threw 5 shutout innings to give the Diamondbacks a series ending 11-3 blow out victory of Colorado.

Frankie Montas allowed 2 unearned runs while striking out 13 Mariners in 6 innings to earn the 6-2 decision for Oakland.

A. J. Pollock collected 9 total bases as he homered twice and the Dodgers shutout the Angels 5-0.

Carlos Santana reached base 4 times, including a home run, driving in 4 to help the surging Indians beat the Pirates, 8-6.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Pete Alonso homered twice and doubled but the Mets finished the season being bombed by the Nationals, 15-5.

Ozzie Albies got 3 hits, 2 of them homers, to help the Braves come from behind against the Rockies, 8-7.

Hunter Pence singled, doubled and homered, driving in 4 and scoring 3 times as the Rangers rolled in Seattle, 14-1.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Chris Bassitt struck out 9 Blue Jays in 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run. The A’s bullpen would collapse in extra innings allowing Toronto to walk off as 5-4 winners.

Melky Cabrera homered twice and added a singled and a double but the Pirates were edged by the Dodgers, 7-6.

Jon Duplantier came out of the bullpen in extra innings to throw 4 shutout frames, allowing 1 hit, 2 walks and striking out 4 Cubs. He did not factor into the decision in the Diamondbacks 6-5 loss in 15 innings.

Daniel Vogelbach reached base 3 times but the rest of the Mariners were silenced in the 14-1 drubbing by the Rangers.
