The Summer Score – Updated for June 17, 2024

Daniel Kucin Jr.-USA TODAY Sports

A pair of firsts happened in the Nationals 3-1 victory over Miami. Washington’s Jacob Young hit his first big league homer. And the 2024 Washington Nationals had their first day on the Summer Score tally.

The always changing National League contributors include the Braves, Brewers, Cardinals, Dodgers, Nationals, Padres and Phillies.

The steady American League group remain the Guardians, Mariners, Orioles, Royals, Twins and Yankees.

Between Memorial Day and the end of June, each team is awarded 1 point for every day they have a playoff position in the Divisional or Wild Card standings.
