Ronel Blanco threw 7 innings of no hit, shutout ball. The Astros bullpen lost the no hitter and the shutout, but not the 4-1 victory over Detroit.

Carlos Correa homered twice and added another hit in the Twins 6-2 double header opener win over the A’s. He would add 2 more hits and an RBI in the 8-7 nightcap win.

Tyler Glasnow struck out 9 in 7 innings as the Dodgers blanked the Royals, 3-0.

Christian Walker went 3 for 5 with a homer as the Diamondbacks torched the White Sox, 12-5.

JJ Bleday went 4 for 5 with a homer in the A’s 8-7 nightcap loss to Minnesota. He also singled and doubled in the 6-2 opener loss.
