The post season is off to a wild start. The Nationals finally got a break and a magical Brewers run came to a shocking end.

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 1
2019 NL Wild Card Game:

Receiving 1 WOO

Juan Soto smacked a dramatic 2 out, 2 run single in the bottom of the 8th. The go ahead third run came around on an error as the Nationals prevailed over Milwaukee, 4-3.

Stephen Strasburg came out of the bullpen to throw 3 innings of 2 hit, no walk ball, striking out 4 Brewers along the way. He would get the decision in the Nationals 4-3 victory.

Receiving 1/2 WOO

Yasmani Grandal hit a 2 run homer in the first and added another walk but Brewers bullpen would give up the lead and the 4-3 game to Washington.

Drew Pomeranz retired all 6 Washington batters he faced, striking out 2. The Brewers would collapse in the 8th and lose, 4-3.
