Who Owned October (#WOO) – Tallies Updated For AL Division Series Game 4, October 8, 2019

Fox Sports

My my my. Look who is forcing a do or die game 5! Nobody thought Justin Verlander would get smacked around in a Division Series game. But that is exactly what Tommy Pham and the Rays did tonight.

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 8
2019 AL Division Series Game 4:

Receiving 1 WOO

Nick Anderson threw 2 1/3 shutout innings, striking out a pair of Astros, helping the Rays notched a 4-1 win.

Tommy Pham got the scoring started with a solo shot in the first. He would collected 3 hits in the Rays stunning series tying 4-1 victory over Houston.

Receiving 1/2 WOO

Robinson Chirinos homered for the Astros only run as they fell 4-1 in Tampa Bay.

José Urquidy gave the Astros 1 2/3 scoreless relief, fanning 3 Rays, but the damage was done early in the 4-1 final.
